A brief description of the classes:

  1. Basic beadmaking- making glass beads by using glass rods and a torch
  2. Fusing Glass - melting glass in a kiln to make pendants and plates
  3. Enameling- working with dry powdered glass and stencils to make bowls and plates
  4. Mosaic Bird Baths- placing"chips" of glass on a bird bath then grouting
  5. Copper-foiled Overlay- working with solder and a copper foil sheet to make a panel window
Other opportunities to learn stained glass-

PRIVATE LESSONS @ the Studio

Offered at the studio Monday—Friday and sometimes on Sat. Private lessons are for two hours per session. Each session is $50.00. For beginners - three sessions are recommended to complete a panel window @ 10" x 14". Fees will cover the use of tools and supplies except glass.
